Graphic Design
I created this poster for the documentary Among the Believers. This was the first poster, used at its premiere at Tribeca. Later I updated it with the awards and honors it received. I altered this main image to remove the lavalier mic which was on the man on the right.
I also worked with the director Hemal Trivedi to choose the tagline of the film, and helped to make it more concise:
“Democracy has failed. Dictators have failed. Now there is a vacuum… Someone’s got to fill it.”
The line is spoken by Maulana Aziz, the main character, an ambitious and fiery cleric who we see in the film is teaching kids to want to be jihadists.
I performed several updates to the poster as the film gained more honors.
I created this poster for the documentary Insha’Allah Democracy, which I also edited and was Post Supervisor on. I was also
I self-published Petal Island on Kindle Press in 2019. Petal Island is a collection of poetry written by my late father Kevin McCue, and putting this together was a bit of a family project, but I organized and proofread all of the poems, wrote the Afterword, and designed the front and back covers including the blurb on the back. The image on the cover was designed by Eugenie Torgerson.
I created this poster as a one-off for Alliance for Working Together, which informs students and adults about manufacturing jobs and education.
For ATB I created five ads for flyers/cards and to be used on web page advertising.
Another flyer/hand card I made for Among the Believers.
Communications and Management
I managed the production of print materials for One World Theatre as Box Office Manager. This includes gathering bios and images from the performers, and if needed editing the bios down to fit our length, or writing new copy if the bio was too short. This is a sample page from a program.
I managed the production of these bifold ads which were mailed out to One World Theatre patrons. The inside, not pictured, had the full schedule of shows and additional information.
For One World Theatre I managed the production of print materials, as well as editing bios for the ticket sales system and programs. The print materials we produced were monthly programs and seasonal promotional schedules, mailed out to all patrons.
EPKs, Grant Applications, and Festival Applications
I put together the EPKs for Among the Believers and Insha’Allah Democracy, including editing and rewriting sections of copy. Additionally, I co-wrote grant applications and festival applications for Forest of Punishments, Among the Believers, Insha’Allah Democracy, Battleground and An Imperfect Pakistani Daughter. This included rewriting the logline (brief description) and synopsis for each of the films, and for most there were several other required sections I wrote such as Artist’s Statement, Production Challenges, etc.

SSJJosh86 uploads an old Saturn game he hasn't played in 10 years. It's a Christmas game! [Sent to friends as a customized Christmas card. I animated this in two days in 2015 using a combination of Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere.]

Trailer for Dogs the Musical as covered by the social media-based news roundup content provider K’tchup! Longer than the one-minute square Instagram sketch version, which seems to have been shadow-banned for its biting satire of IG’s “bread and butter”. Or it could have been the music.
