One World Theatre - Music Venue in Austin, Texas

From 2012 to early 2014, I was House Manager/Box Office Manager at One World Theatre, a live music venue in Austin, Texas. During that time, I updated and managed portions of the front end of the theater’s website. I also updated and maintained the back end of the site, notably the sales system. I programmed 80% of shows into the sales system, including seating arrangements, pricing structures, discounts available, artist descriptions and images. I generated critical sales reports and performed maintenance on the systems. I also managed a corp of around 100 volunteers through a separate web-based system.

I also edited the theater’s printed programs for the duration of my time there. This included editing the text of artist descriptions to length, selecting and editing images, layout and ordering, maintenance of the events calendar and some promotional duties.
